My new go to Thai restaurant in LA! My gf and I tried multiple Thai restaurants in the area and are glad we found Hoy-Ka. The restaurant has a cozy, open concept with exposed wood beams and TVs. The service was excellent and the food came out in a timely manner. We ordered the beef pad thai, spicy level 3, and it did not disappoint. Flavor, toppings, and the noodles were amazing! The noodle quality really stood out to me and was prepared perfectly al dente. For sure one of the best pad thai I've had in LA. All the chilis on the side complimented the dish well. The khao-soi with crispy pork was ridiculous! Broth, noodles, and toppings fused together well and the crunch from the crispy pork was so delicious. This dish a must! We finished the meal with mango sticky rice which was great. The mangos were ripe and rice was on point. They didn't add the sweet icing sauce that usually goes on mango sticky rice, but probably good because the meal was heavy. Overall, delicious food and vibes at Hoy-Ka, highly recommend!

Food was good Service was great the workers were very nice and to my mom. She uses a cane since she can't walk well. Timing was very great being we went on a Saturday lunch. I did have a hard time finding parking They have it behind or you can find street parking Right by the heart of Sunset where the Arby sign is or was. Ambiance was pleasant We ordered the spring roll with shrimp Pad see ew with beef - they did ask how spicy I said mild but it was just right And their fried rice with seafood was great portion Only picture since we were too busy eating.

I've heard what a legend Hoy-Ka is for thai food in LA, so I was excited to try it. Everything we got was really good although my favorite was the crispy pork with papaya salad. It seems everyone talks about the jade noodles but I didn't really enjoy it that much. Probably because we got the broth on the side, next time I want to try it with the broth in.

My mom and I came in on a Wednesday night, we were sat down right away & decided to order the Crispy Pork appetizer & the Pad See Eiw Noodles to share! We got the food super quick & it was so much food we couldn't finish it but we did take it to go! Both dishes were soo delicious, probably the best Thai food I've ever had! The Pad See Eiw had so much flavor and the meat was super tender and cooked perfectly. I'm usually not a huge fan of pork but this pork was tender on the inside but but crispy on the outside and the sauce was amazing. We ended up mixing the Pad See Eiw & the pork together which was game changer! I definitely recommend this spot if you're a lover of Thai food, all the tables next to us ordered different things and everything looked delicious!
